Fire damper control and monitoring system

The Monitor F system is suitable for controlling and monitoring fire dampers from all manufacturers. The remote connection allows the system to be used on mobile devices regardless of time and place. Once the locations of the fire dampers are marked on the graphical floor plans, it is easy for service personnel to locate the alarming fire damper. BACnet and Modbus communication guarantee reliable connectivity to building automation systems.

Mechanical fire dampers can also be connected to the Monitor F system.

The Monitor detects a fire even if the fire damper is stuck in the open position!

In the event of a fire, the fire damper thermal fuse will melt and the actuator voltage will be cut off. If the fire damper is stuck in the OPEN position, the spring force of the fire damper motor will not be enough to close the fire damper. Traditional automation systems do not recognize this because they only monitor the actuator open limit switch.

Because the Monitor system also monitors the current drawn by the fire damper actuator, the system detects a fire even if the fire damper is stuck in the open position!
